Traditional architecture, being a part of the life order of the Tatar people, reflects the peculiarities of their worldview. Patterns of house carvings were considered good wishes for the dwellers of the home for centuries. The protective significance of floral patterns in house carvings is explained by various cultural and historical conditions that influenced the formation of the worldview of the Tatar people. Thus, the image of the trefoil, symbolizing the rebirth of life, is associated not so much with one of the incarnations of the Turkic goddess Umai in a three-horned crown and in the flames of the hearth, but with bright steppe tulips that decorate the steppe expanses in spring. Another image, often fixed, is a coiling stem, which is of ancient origins and is interpreted as a symbol of the infinity of life, fragile, but continuing repeatedly.
