Abstract

The article is devoted to learning Last Bronze-Early Iron grave monuments history of Absheron. The main investigations of these monuments started in 40 th years XX century. So,there were investigations five burials in stone boxes the beginning by I.M.Japharzadeh in year 1941 in Pirallahi Island next to penning, 60th years Sh.H.Sadigzadeh investigated one land grave next to Binagadi (this is only one grave monument about Last Bronze-Early Iron Age in peninsula's West side ),G.M.Aslanov defined eighteen burials in stone boxes next to Agdash-duzu (next to Mardakan village) in 1963. Archaeological monuments are mainly situated peninsula's East side,along the coast modern Mardakan, Gala, Zira, Turkan and Dubandi villages' area. From 1985 years archeological investigation works taken by I.N.Aliyev. The results of archeological excavations and analyses of grave tools in Absheron's burial stone boxes reflected in articles and reports as investigators by G.M.Aslanov, SH.H.Sadigzadeh, I.N.Aliyev and T.N.Goyushova.
