Aims & Scope
The journal "Archaeological Heritage" is published biannually by the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS.
It solicits contributions of scholarly articles that present original research findings across the fields of archaeology and related disciplines, including Epigraphy, Numismatics, and Architectural History. The journal also welcomes submissions addressing theoretical issues pertinent to Azerbaijani archaeology, as well as those employing interdisciplinary methodologies. Furthermore, it publishes the outcomes of collaborative research involving geologists, paleozoologists, palynologists, and specialists in absolute chronology.
In addition, Archaeological Heritage features summaries of fieldwork reports documenting novel, significant monuments and discoveries accompanied by scientific analyses. The journal additionally reviews recent scientific publications in archaeology, provides updates on conferences, symposiums, and seminars, and includes scholarly articles and obituaries commemorating the anniversaries of distinguished scholars.
