About the Journal
The Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS publishes the journal Archaeological Heritage twice a year.
The journal accepts scientific articles for publication presenting the results of new research in the fields of archaeology and related disciplines, including epigraphy, numismatics, and architectural history. It also welcomes scientific articles addressing theoretical issues in Azerbaijani archaeology, articles focused on interdisciplinary research methods, and the outcomes of collaborative research conducted with geologists, paleozoologists, palynologists, and specialists in absolute periodization. Additionally, the journal publishes summaries of field research reports that feature new, unique monuments and finds along with their scientific analysis, reviews of recent scientific publications in archaeology, information on conferences, symposiums, and scientific seminars, as well as articles and obituaries commemorating the anniversaries of prominent scholars.
