ABOUT MEDIEVAL BATHHOUSES OF AZERBAIJAN

Abstract

Bathhouse is a very important place for people to clean dirt, filth. Medieval bathhouses formed under the influence of religions and social processes in the society provide essential information on the existing system of that time. Although Azerbaijani bathhouses have the same architectural structure, they are divided into several groups according to their functions. Medieval bathhouses help us to express an opinion about hygiene, sanitation, therefore health conditions and other socially important
issues in the medieval cities of Azerbaijan during that time.
