THE VILLAGE SETTLEMENTS OF GEOKCHAY AND UJAR REGION IN EARLY MIDDLE AGES

Abstract

During the excavations at the south-east Shirwan were founded village settlements dated early middle easts. Intensive development of economy and culture anlarged ties of tribes in Azerbaijan with Middle and Western Asia, improved material wellbeing of people. It can be observed in settlements dated back to Bronze Age and in burial monuments. In the future excavations held in these sites will give the possibilities not only study more widely about area, but also will be valuable for the history of Azerbaijan.
