The Azerbaijani people, including the population of Karabakh, acting on the side of all progressive and democratic forces of the world had demonstrated great dedication in the fight against fascism both in the front line and the rear. During the Second World War, all the material and spiritual values, especially human potential of Azerbaijan, including of the Karabakh region of the country
were mobilized for the sake of victory over fascism. This is evidenced by historical literature and the primary sources of the studied period.
