Abstract

Metalworking was one of the important part of economic life of people in the territory of Caucasian Albania. Archaeological materials give us an opportunity to talk about that. Material-cultural samples which had been found from Mingachevir, Torpaggala (Kakh), Khunan (Shikhli II), Gabagchol, Mahamalar, Kharabalig, Khornabuj and other settlements are better examples. Archaeological materials prove that metal tools had been widely used and metalworking was a special field of craftsmanship in the early medieval period in the different part of Kambisena territory of Caucasian Albania.
