ABOUT THE STONEWORK PROFESSION IN THE MIDDLE CENTURY IN THE SHABRAN

Abstract

Shabran is one of the Middle Century cities in Azerbaijan. The arshaelogists excavated in Shabran in the eve of archaeological excavations. They discovered that the people lived there was occupied with stonework, agriculture and building constructions. They found variours remainders and workshops referring to the masters, craftsmen work on the stones. This archaeological excavations prove that at the begining of the IX-XIV century the Shabran stoneworkers (craftsmen) worked in these workshops they prove that these skilful craftsmen were the most talented and knew everythink about this profession.
