Abstract

The definition of a nation’s cultural and genetic codes is based on identification of the elements that distinguish that nation from other communities, namely the characteristics of identification. This work, as well as providing information on this identification and, indirectly, on Turkic identification, will endeavour to establish the genetic codes of Turkic culture in Zhanysh, Baiysh, which is an outstanding epic of the Kyrgyz Turks, who have an extensive archive of oral folk literature. The results will be classified and analysed, and some estimates and propositions will be offered in conclusion.
