Keywords:

In the article, although the Russian language and the East Slavic languages have been used since ancient times, elements that are not reflected either in the ever-expanding Turkic studies, or in the latest studies, or in lexicographic literature, are, in fact, preserved in the living Russian language jiqan “thief, vagabond ”; şiş “steep peak, summit”; tuk (tok, tox) “fertile land”; başkan “grandfather, old man”; satarqa “dear”; burak “basket”, etc. hundreds of Turkish words are discussed. Such lexical units play a special role in creating a real picture of the Turkic words used in the Russian literary language, as well as in the dialects of the Russian language, especially in the living vernacular of the Russian population living in the historical Turkic region of Russia and in our opinion, the results of our study and similar studies show that the weight of Turkish words in the Russian language is increasing, and its position is becoming more and more definite. It should also be mentioned that the situation we are talking about was formed from the fact that Turkic words entered this language from the very beginning, and also from the fact that they were transmitted to the folk dialects not through the literary language, but mainly from close ties. All these issues are widely reflected in the article.
