Heydar Aliyev and architectural appearance of public buildings in Baku of the 1970-1980th

Abstract

The work in the ield of architecture done by Heydar Aliyev during his leadership in Azerbaijan in 1969-1982, based on such fundamental principles, as return to the people of his historical memory and an eminence of the national spirit. Great number of the public buildings was constructed in Bakuin the 1970-80th according to individual projects. These buildings deined the spatial structure and an esthetic originality of the cities.
