Theatre criticism in the period of independence: regress or progress

Abstract

In the article are investigated the problems of theatre criticism in the period of independence. Analysis of current situation allows suggesting that nowadays are dying out the model of criticism of last century not today’s criticism. Therefore, essence and functions of modern criticism are changing, thus approaching to modern theatrical process by ways, means, and forms of criticism of the last century is infringement of law.
