Directions of development of Azerbaijani scenography during the state independence

Abstract

Professional art of scenic design in Azerbaijan began the path of its development right after 1920. It is justly noted that, variability and diversity of styles and methods, which are characteristic for scenographic art of the 20th century, equally have dealt with Azerbaijani scenography. As if the rule of late 20th century the using of the method “creative research in accordance with the idea of spectacle of generalized image of the play” at staging has become exactly traditional in the end for both scenography of Azerbaijan and scenography of new 21st century as a whole.
