Prominent sculptor academician Omar Eldarov

Abstract

The correlations of categories of image, motion and space in the creative work of the People’s artist of Azerbaijan academician Omar Eldarov is analysed in the article. There is proved that the master is a reformer of the artistic language of modern sculpture drawing apart its borders. On the specimen of monuments to Fizuli, H.Javid, grave stones of S.Bahlulzade, Niyazi, Z.Bunyadov, the works “Four colours of the time”, “The XX century” and others there are formed main peculiarities of the new language of sculpture.
