The use of artificial intelligence technologies in education according to the views of teachers working in science and art centers

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the opinions of teachers working in Science and Art Centers (BİLSEM) about artificial intelligence and its use in education. In the research conducted with the case study method, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 42 teachers and content analysis was applied. The results showed that teachers use artificial intelligence technologies in education in different ways and that they are aware of the use of these technologies in areas such as electronics, health, and informatics outside of education. In addition, teachers’ opinions about the advantages and disadvantages of artificial intelligence in education are also included.
