Design of educational environment on the example of the project “Branded classrooms of USPTU”

Abstract

One of the demanded and actively developing directions in the conditions of digital society is a new strategy of education. Training of highly qualified personnel becomes a priority task. New education assumes mastery of digital technologies, but not only. The new generation of young specialists is expected to be creative and have an informal attitude to their chosen profession. The project of creating an up-to-date educational environment is aimed at the formation of relevant competencies. Modern educational institutions have become part of a comprehensive program to renovate existing educational institutions as part of a large-scale strategic project of the Russian Federation to create a comfortable urban environment. Another important task of the project, not directly related to the new competencies, is to popularize technical and engineering specialties among high school and college students. A modern school classroom, decorated by design students according to their own author’s project, impresses students with a special atmosphere. Such an atypical for schools concept of school classrooms makes students, future applicants, to seriously consider their choice, to make a step in the right direction.
