“Fortepiano works” on the basis of U. Hajibeyli and M.Magomayev’s “Azerbaijani Turkic Folk Songs”

Abstract

The report provides information about the material found in manuscripts of piano music from the archive of the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS, among the documents belonging to M.Magomayev. It is mentioned that there is no information about the title page and headline of the manuscripts, any notes or explanations, or the author of works. The manuscript is compiled in bulk and consists of four sections: 1.Turkish melodies; 2.Turkey melodies; 3.Arabic melodies; 4. Kyrgyz melodies. In the report was found that the “Turkish melodies” section was the “Piano Works” based on the collection of “Azerbaijani Turkic Folk Songs” (1927). At the end of the report, the irst performance of the piano works was presented to the audience.
