Heydar Aliyev and folk music

Abstract

The author of the article draws the readers` attention to Heydar Aliyev`s brochure “Composer’s high debt and destination” published in 1979, estimates this brochure as a program document about music art having prospective signiicance. In the article there is especially noted that main principles of this brochure became basic for further socialpolitical activity of Heydar Aliyev, in his treatment to folk music and generally to music art of Azerbaijan.
