Geometric patterns that cover Azerbaijani carpets

Abstract

The article provides extensive information on the formation of geometric patterns that cover Azerbaijani carpets. Studies show that over time, simple geometric patterns become more complex. The acquisition of more complex forms of geometric patterns, according to some sources, is associated with the use of architectural patterns in the carpet carpet. In the study, there are widespread use of geometric patterns of carpets for architectural embellishments. Such widespread use of both architectural and other patterns found in carpet art in the Middle Ages brings them together and closely links them. The presented cases of carpet beading are also found in the general design and composition of the Karabakh carpets.
