To the history of the development of the Military Architecture of Uzbekistan in the ancient period

Abstract

This article attempts to study and summarize the results of archaeological research concerning the emergence and development of military architecture on the territory of such ancient states as Bactria, Khorezm and Sogd, which once existed on the territory of modern Uzbekistan. The purpose of this study is a comprehensive scientific analysis of archaeological, archival materials and on their basis systematization, integration and implementation of general scientific research on the history of military architecture of Uzbekistan. In the course of the study, methods of comparative and complex analysis were used. As a result of using the methods of comparative and complex analysis, the unique schools of military architecture and their traditions of such states as Bactria, Khorezm and Sogd of the 6th century BC – 4th century AD were studied.
