Evolution of the appearance of Dede Korkut in the fine art

Abstract

The article consequentially considered the idea of the evolution of creating the image of Dede Korkut in the visual arts. The material of works of artists of several countries let this problem be studied. There are the works of Baki Urmanche (Russia), Fakhreddin Mamedveliev (Azerbaijan), Siruz Mirzazade (Azerbaijan), Nureddin Gayaly (Turkey), Aibek Rozakov (Kazakhstan),
Almas Syrgabaev (Kazakhstan), Gabriel Rukhi Tun (Canada), and others among them. The conclusion is that the phased development of the topic has led to the artistic improvement of the image, and the regional features eloquently emphasize its sub-ethnic characteristics against the background of the general Turkic iconography.
