Abstract

Industrial enterprises represent a critical sector of the national economy, playing a leading role in the production of material goods. The development level of industrial enterprises is influenced by the natural and geographical conditions of the economic space, the availability of natural resources, and other socio-economic factors. Research indicates that the industrial potential of the Mountainous Shirvan economic region remains relatively low. One of the key factors affecting industrial development in the region is the presence of enterprises for processing agricultural products. This study explores opportunities to enhance the role of the Mountainous Shirvan economic region in industrial production and to make efficient use of its existing natural and economic resources. The research emphasizes the establishment of new enterprises or the expansion of existing ones for processing products from viticulture, horticulture, and vegetable cultivation. Additionally, the article investigates strategies for ensuring a stable supply of raw materials to agricultural processing enterprises and identifies a set of essenti al measures that could stimulate industrial growth in the region.
