TO THE QUESTION OF CREATIVITY OF YOUNG FEMALE ARTISTS OF AZERBAIJAN

Abstract

The article attempts to consider the problems of the feminist trend in contemporary art of Azerbaijan, namely in the work of young female artists. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that the author was able to reconstruct the features of the artistic and philosophical worldview of contemporary female artists, whose work is a reaction to gender issues. The main provisions and arguments of the article are based on the material of the exhibition "Female view: what do you dream about? Depicting our inner life", which was held within the framework of the annual festival "Her art in action", organized by the art platform "VarYox". The author concludes that the exposition of this exhibition should be considered both from the point of view of the subject matter and artistic features. The result of the study was that in the process of analyzing the presented works, they were conditionally divided into two groups. The first group of works is mainly presented as a reflection of traditional gender issues, in particular, everyday life. The other group is distinguished by the reflection of everyday issues, which bring these works to the level of philosophical reflection. The method of research was chosen artistic and philosophical analysis. In order to identify the artistic and philosophical significance of the works, the analysis of the works was carried out taking into account the mental and philosophical perception of Azerbaijani artists. The scientific and practical significance of the article is determined by the possibility of applying the research results in methodological developments for studying the conceptual foundations of contemporary art in Azerbaijan.
