REASONS OF THE DIFFERENCE IN THE COMPOSITION OF PYROXENES IN PICRITE OF LESSER CAUCASUS AND TALISH ZONE

Abstract

In the article are discussed the reasons of the variability of the pyroxenes compositions in the picrites of the Lesser Caucasus and Talysh zone. On the base of geological, petrological, mineralogical, statistical (factorial analysis) analysis, it was proved that differences in the pyroxenes compositions indicate that the evolution of primary melts of picrite from the Lesser Caucasus and Talysh zone is regulated by fractional crystallization.
