PRESSURE WAVE PROPAGATION IN A POROUS MEDIUM IN THE CASE OF A NONLINEAR FILTRATION LAW
Keywords:
shock wave, rock deformation, nonlinear Forchheimer lawAbstract
The propagation of a pressure wave in a reservoir is considered taking into account the compressibility of both the rock itself and the fluid. In this case, two cases are considered: a linear filtration law - Darcy's law and a generalized filtration law in the form of Forchheimer. Graphs of the distribution of pressure in time and space in the process of shock-wave action with a sharp increase in pressure are obtained.
