    Abstract

During the conducted phytocenological studies, the study of the ontogenetic and bioecological characteristics of Dianthus raddeanus Vierh was carried out in both cultivated and wild conditions in Goygol and Dashkasan regions of the Lesser Caucasus. At this time, the distribution areas, seasonal rhythmic variations, morphological-geographical, ecological-senotic characteristics of the species were studied, and its role in the protection of the decorative plant gene pool and the preservation of the ecological balance was determined. In the Thymusetum-Festucosum formation of D. raddeanus species in the Togana mountain massif of Goygol region, it was observed that the population of the species has a complete base spectrum, and the defense mechanism is strengthened by resisting the negative effects of unfavorable conditions of abiotic factors. Also, during the researches, the normal development rhythm, flowering and fruiting ability, high quantity and quality indicators of Dianthus raddeanus Vierh type, promising possibilities in creating flower compositions in Ganja and other cities were revealed.
