      Abstract

It was determined that, as a result of the erosion process in Nagorno Shirvan, soil fertility is lost and productivity decreases. Therefore, perennial grasses and mineral fertilizers were used to increase the fertility of eroded gray-brown soils. According to the results of the experiment, the amount of humus increased by 0.08% in the 0-10 cm layer of the soil, 0.05% in the 10-20 cm layer, and 0.03% in the 20-30 cm layer. Among the applied options, the highest indicator was obtained in the Fon+ N45P45K30 option. The reason for this is related to the remains of the root system of plants in that layer. The roots and rhizomes of couch grass and ryegrass used in planting were mainly concentrated in the upper layer. Along with humus, the amount of total nitrogen and total
phosphorus in the soil increased. Total nitrogen is 0.04-0.05% in the 0-10 cm layer, and the amount of total phosphorus is 0.05% in the top layer for 3 years, 0.04% in 10-20 cm, and 0.04% in 20-30 cm It increased by 0.03%. The highest increase in total phosphorus was observed in the variant Fon+ + N45P45K30. Along with perennial grasses, the role of mineral fertilizers has been great in this
increase. Therefore, it is considered appropriate to use mineral fertilizers in the background of perennial grasses to restore the fertility of eroded gray-brown soils in Nagorno Shirvan.
