    Abstract

In most cases, certain events that occur during the change of socio-political and historical conditions can cause certain changes, revivals or stagnation in literature. In the 1970s, in the history of the literature of the Turkic peoples, in a certain sense, the question of turning to folklore literary examples in literature, transforming the mythological worldview and mythical texts into fiction and literary works was considered an actual event. Chingiz Aytmatov, one of the writers who left an indelible mark in the literature of the Turkic peoples and created immortal works, skillfully combined national and universal ideas in his works, also created a rich literary heritage with his works that refer to mythological texts. In his works, Chingiz Aytmatov presents the traditions, history, present and future of the Kyrgyz people in a symbolic sense in the description of images or in the mythical content that forms a whole with the main idea of the text. The author hid the main idea of the text in its bottom layer, in its mythological content, in the three narratives he wrote in the 1970s - "The White Ship", "Cranes Coming Early" and "Alabash Running Along the Sea". The mythological motifs and mythological images described in his works are reflected in the legends, tales, and beliefs of the heroes. Chingiz Aitmatov, as a writer of the Soviet era, naturally had to describe the idea he wanted to express with a motive hidden in some substratum. For this, the author chose mythology, which contains very interesting and thought-provoking content.
