TURKISH LITERARY THOUGHT IN BAKHTIYAR VAHABZADE'S POETRY

Abstract

The article examines the artistic reflection of Turkish literary thought in Bakhtiyar Vahabzade’s poetry. Bakhtiyar Vahabzade is a manifestation of Turkishness with his literary identity. In the artist’s poetry, both the literary personalities of Turkish thinkers were investigated, and their philosophy of artistic creation was involved in the study, and the closeness of thought of Bakhtiyar Vahabzade and those thinkers was emphasized. In his work, the poet addressed Turkish historical monuments and Turkish mythology, and acts as a guardian of the cultural heritage of the entire Turkic world. Along with this, Bakhtiyar Vahabzade has reflected both their philosophical thoughts and literary identity in his creations based on the creativity of Turkish literary figures of both the classical period and the republic period. These poems can be considered as the clearest example of Turk’s love for Turk and Azerbaijan-Turkey friendship. Bakhtiyar Vahabzade expressed his love for Turkish thinkers in the most beautiful way in these literary examples with the feeling of a poet.
