SUFI CHARACTER IN POEMS OF AMIR AFSAHEDDIN HIDAYAT

Abstract

Afsaheddin Hidayat's work is a pan-Turkish literary phenomenon that entered the history of XV century culture with a new poetic tone. In the work of Amir Afsaheddin Hidayat, more space was given to the subject of gnosis and Sufism. These are the most impressive examples. Of course, although Hidayat's work does not consist of Sufism at the extreme level as Sufi poets, when analyzing his poems, we see that the poet attached great importance to gnosis and wrote examples in the light of Sufism and gnosis. In this regard, Afsaheddin used masukh, ashik, rind, zahid, aghyar, divine love, mosque, pub, etc. touched on the topics, talked about the movement towards the unified truth and its stages.
