    Abstract

This article highlights the results of a research work devoted to the study of inherited characteristics of seedling traits in F1 hybrids between wheat varieties (durum wheat “Saray” and soft wheat “Absheron”) and amphiploids. In our research work, we studied the occurence of true heterosis, hypothetical heterosis and levels of dominance in the traits of the total length of seedlings, the length of coleoptile, the length of first leaf and the width of first leaf in F1 hybrids. According to the study results, the one combination (Sa × Ta/AgI#13) among the hybrids showed overdominance both in terms of coleoptile length and first leaf width. As a result, we revealed that the frequency of overdominance was 15% for the length of coleoptile, 10% for the width of first leaf, 5% for the total length of seedlings and 5% for the length of first leaf.
