The basin method is of great importance in the study and prevention of anthropogenic impact on the soil cover, which is a natural ecosystem. It is necessary to organize an environmental assessment by applying modern bioindicator and control methods and programs to monitor river basins. For this purpose, a comparative evaluation of the soils spread within the Tovuzchay basin, selected as the research area, was investigated. Cutting samples were taken from the soils of the study area, their field studies and laboratory analyzes were conducted, and based on the results, the types and subtypes of the basin soils were shown in the article. Also, based on the internal diagnostic indicators of the soils, the basic bonity scale was compiled, correction coefficients were determined according to various signs (salinity, salinization, granulometric composition, soil solution reaction and thickness of the soft layer), and a bonity cartogram was prepared on a scale of 1:50000. In the quality map, the contour number, quality class and quality score are marked on each land contour.
