THE ROLE OF 19TH CENTURY AZERBAIJANI WOMEN IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE

Abstract

The article contains comments on the life and socio-political activities of Azerbaijani women. The main issues discussed, the position of Azerbaijani women in way of life and politics, education and upbringing are dealt with in the person of women. he study takes into account the importance of enlightenment, education of women. In the social and political life of Azerbaijan, women and mothers are highly valued. The high role of women in the management of society, in the formation of the state, and at the same time in educating the young generation based on historical traditions and sacred practices, has been undeniable. Issues related to women's rights and women's education are considered one of the main criteria of democracy and the general level of development of society for each state. The 19th century was characterized by women's activity and great creative achievements in the life of Azerbaijan. The political, economic and cultural processes that took place in Azerbaijan from that century gave a strong impetus to women's education and more active participation in public life. Firstly, the history of the nineteenth century was told, it talked about women and then explored the lives of women of the time. Since the 19th century, women's social activity has been increa-singly felt in Azerbaijan. At the same time, education during this period is described as part of women's lives. An educated woman means an educated nation, an educated generation. The fact that a woman is educated is a major indicator that she is raising educated children for society. But education can move women forward and help them solve their problems. Various sources were used in the course of the study.
