Territorial ecosystem was subject to severe degradation in the period of occupation and due to repetition of active war phase. The article is devoted to the analysis of natural conditions of the areas around the mine which is exposed to man-made pollution. The tendency of changing parameters is integrated into the medium of Geographical Information System (GIS), and the monitoring results are mapped. The changes in different parameters of soil-vegetation cover were evaluated spatially and temporally using satellite sensor data within the selected study area. It has been determined that serious degradation has occurred in the ecosystems that ensure the progress of the natural recovery process and maintain the ecological balance. Areas around mines where degradation occurs are ecosystems with optimal bioclimatic conditions. The occurrence of degradation in these ecosystems
and the increase in the scale of impact can lead to more negative consequences day by day.
