This study investigates the H₂S capture performance of Cu–Zn–Mn/Al₂O₃ mixed oxide sorbents in humid natural gas streams across various temperatures (60–150 °C). ZnO-based sorbents doped with Cu and Mn demonstrate enhanced low-temperature activity and improved structural stability. Simulation results show a maximum H₂S uptake of ~56 mg/g at 150 °C, representing a ~47% increase compared to 60 °C. As temperature rises, improved kinetics and diffusion allow deeper penetration into the sorbent particles. Mn doping generates oxygen vacancies that enhance Cu-driven sulfur diffusion, while Cu contributes to surface reactivity. Economic analysis suggests that 120 °C offers an optimal balance between capacity and energy efficiency. Overall, Cu–Zn–Mn/Al₂O₃ sorbents show great promise as efficient, regenerable H₂S adsorbents for low- to mid-temperature applications. Future studies may explore regeneration performance, selectivity against sulfur mixtures, and application on nanostructured supports
