The research work was conducted on durum and soft wheat varieties and wheat plant varieties resistant to powdery mildew were selected. According to the results of the research, it was determined that soft wheat varieties are more susceptible to powdery mildew, while durum wheat varieties are relatively more resistant. Powdery mildew disease developed more and became widespread during humid periods. Out of the 42 varieties studied, 2 were evaluated with 0 points and were fully resistant, 20 were evaluated with 1-2 points and were resistant, and the remaining varieties were evaluated with 3-4 points and were moderately resistant. As a result, it was found that almost the majority of the studied varieties of durum and soft wheat are resistant to powdery mildew. This results in their high susceptibility. Highly resistant varieties have been recommended for farming.
