China's political maneuvers against the US and Iran: The Dilemma of the Persian Gulf

Abstract

The article examines the influence of the American-Chinese and American-Iranian contradictions on China's Iranian policy, as well as the ways in which China realizes its regional and international economic and political interests in the context of the American-Iranian conflict. The study reveals the essence of the Persian Gulf dilemma for China and analyses the results of China-Iran cooperation in many areas, especially the development of Iran's nuclear energy and military cooperation, the US reaction to this cooperation, and the prospects for the development of Sino-Iranian relations.
