Multiculturalism in Heydar Aliyev's Policy

Abstract

Multiculturalism has developed differently in different regions. The basis for the development of multiculturalism, tolerance, and religious tolerance in Azerbaijan at the level of state policy is the country's ancient statehood history and the development of these traditions. At the end of the 20th century, national leader Heydar Aliyev transformed it into a form of statehood ideology; the traditions of tolerance and multiculturalism were restored, and the traditions continue today.
