The differences in the usage “poetic manners” and “shahid bаyts” (couplets) and their reasons

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of examples of poetry, the so-called “shahid bayts (couplets)”, which play a significant role in medieval scientific development. The author, who is trying to explore couplets in“Lisan al-Arab” by Ibn Manzoor, talks about six different forms of poetic manifestations. Therefore, it should be noted that although “shahid bayts” have different forms, each of these forms is hujjat (proof), that is, evidence of the rationale for the idea in both literary and grammatical terms.
