Azerbaijan and Post-Soviet Central Asia region

Abstract

Post-Soviet Central Asia is one of the regions bordering Azerbaijan. In the article, the author examines the main factors that determine the significance of the post-Soviet Central Asia region for Azerbaijan, including in the field of politics, security issues, and economics. The author concludes that this region is a key link in the system of building a network of communication, integration and transport links between Europe and the region of Central Asia, China, as well as other countries of Southeast Asia.
