BVRcIc PHOTOMETRIC MONITORING OF THE SEYFERT GALAXY NGC 3516 IN 2017-2021

Abstract

The results of BVRcIc photometric observations of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 3516, conducted in 2017-2021, are presented. The obtained results show that the change in brightness within the observation carried out within the period of 2017-2021 in the BV Rc and Ic filters was 0. 36 ± 0. 005; 0. 28 ± 0, 005; 0, 07 ± 0.003 and 0.04 ± 0.0.004 magnitudes, respectively. This fact proves that there was a change in the spectral type in this galaxy, which was obtained as a result of spectral observations.
