Abstract

During archaeological excavations were obtained unique anthropomorphic works, giving a wealth of information about the culture, art and worldview of the ancient tribes engaged in farming and animal husbandry in the territory of Azerbaijan. Mastery of the ancient inhabitants of Azerbaijan in the field of anthropomorphic figures in its origin is associated with many historical and artistic creative tradition whose roots go back to Gobustan images relating to the Mesolithic period. A comparative analysis of similar materials found in the territories of the Middle East argue that in times of Chalcolithic, Bronze Age, antiquity and the Middle Ages, the population of Azerbaijan was familiar with the art of the ancient East. Representations associated with anthropomorphic image of our ancient art derived from artistic thinking, creative trends and religious beliefs of the Turkish peoples.
