Abstract

The problem of the emergence, formation and development of realia in language is relevant. To study this issue, it is necessary to take into account the linguistic picture of the world and linguistic universals. Only these questions influence the creation, formation and development of realia in the language of any people. Also on the agenda is the question of what factors determine the presence of realia in a language. Many researchers have devoted their scientific works to studying this problem.

In our opinion, the linguistic picture of the world is a set of ideas about the world that have historically developed in the everyday consciousness of a certain linguistic community and are reflected in language; it is a certain way of conceptualizing reality.

The language-specific way of conceptualizing reality is partly universal and partly national, so that speakers of different languages may see the world somewhat differently through the lens of their own language. On the other hand, the linguistic picture of the world seems simple in the sense that it differs from the scientific picture in many important respects.

At the same time, some ideas reflected in language are not primitive at all: in many cases they are no less complex and interesting than scientific ideas. For example, these are ideas about the inner world of a person, which reflect the introspective experience of dozens of generations over many millennia and can serve as a reliable guide to this world.

This article examines two main groups of factors influencing the formation of realities: linguistic and extralinguistic.
