Spheres of using of the terms "bilingualism" and "multilingualism

Abstract

The article examines the terms "bilingualism" and "multilingualism", their meaning, application and differences in different contexts. The article focuses on the analysis of these concepts in different areas. Examples of bilingualism and multilingualism in different countries and communities are reviewed and their associated advantages and challenges are explored. The article discusses current trends and future research perspectives of these phenomena.
