Abstract

The article is dedicated to the anthropocentric approach in linguistic studies, exploring the implementation of emotive meanings through the example of Chingiz Abdullayev's novel "His Greatest Passion." The work emphasizes that modern linguistics increasingly focuses on the individual as a central element in the analysis of linguistic facts. An important aspect is the interaction between language and culture, where the anthropocentric approach activates terms such as “concept,” “stereotype,” “model,” and “national mentality.” The article highlights the role of emotive vocabulary in the literary text by analyzing the dialogues of the main characters and their emotional connotations. It also addresses translation issues, noting how differences in perception can affect the conveyance of emotional content. Thus, the study demonstrates how the anthropocentric approach allows for a deeper understanding of the emotive aspects of language and their significance within the context of literature.
