Conceptual models in political discourse and problems of translation

Abstract

In the modern era, the concept of discourse is included in the new paradigm of linguistic knowledge emerging before our eyes: the cognitive-discursive paradigm. Therefore, the analysis of the types of political discourse, the analysis of the various types of political speech that has the most influence on the public consciousness and is widespread in the mass media, and the determination of the linguistic and extralinguistic features of its creation come to the fore.

The purpose of this article is to characterize the political discourse and determine its specificity. The issue of conceptualization and reconceptualization in the translation of political discourse, conceptual models in political discourse were analyzed in the article.
