Abstract

When we examine the variants of the English language, we witness an issue that the formation of differences in the variants arises from the same necessity. The need to name new concepts leads to the formation of new words or the addition of new meanings to existing ones. Since English is not the only language here, i.e the languages of local peoples are considered one of the main factors, different charecteristic features from Standard English appear. Written language is not a subject to these affects. Although these differences manifest themselves mostly in the spoken language, they are not obstacles for the English -speaking population living in different parts of the world to understand each other. The areas where the diffrences are regular are the pronunciation and lexis. All these differnces are not enough to prove the fact that the variants we have mentioned above are separate languages. Since differences are based on the British variant, we can not deal with a separate language
