Abstract

The Azerbaijani language increasingly uses universal vocabulary that is suitable for both masculine and feminine gender, which indicates a desire for gender equality in the language. Unlike some other languages, Azerbaijani has no grammatical gender and there are no definite endings that indicate the gender of a noun. However, there are certain words that can refer only to men or women.
