Abstract

It is known that in the process of translation, the literary text, while keeping its general meaning, often loses the imagery, expressiveness, and expressiveness characteristic of the original to a minimal degree, which is quite natural and logical. The main difficulties encountered during the translation of a literary text are related to its semantics. These difficulties mainly arise when translating words - especially words from the source language into the target language. A comparison of translated and original texts shows that translators mostly succeed in understanding the impact of their text. From the research in the article, it can be concluded that the semantics of the literary text should be preserved in the unity of all its components during translation. This fact of preservation manifests itself most often at the lexical level. The translator must first understand the author's intention. After the intention is understood, the interpreter succeeds in conveying the information in the source language to the reader in any form.
